As rain stopped play for the car boot sale yesterday morning, I decided to use my time doing something else useful - sewing up three more pillowcase totes.
This is one of a pair of unused vintage pillowcases that I got at the fabulous jumble sale three weeks ago.
Another single pillowcase from the same jumble sale - very 'Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady'.
Finally, the second of a pair of unused vintage pillowcases bought quite a while ago in a charity shop in Billericay, decorated a la Tiny Happy with a vintage hand-crocheted piece.
I think that takes the total of bags to try at the art shop near my Mum's house to about nine. If anyone is interested in buying one before they're put in my suitcase on Friday let me know. The bags are £4.95 each plus £1.25 for P&P in the UK.
Hi Elizabeth - do you ever get to Rayleigh? I was in Rayleigh High Street recently and in one of the charity shops (possibly Oxfam) they had lots of pillow cases and I thought of you! I can't remember how much they were, sorry.

hi, I'd love to have the "country diary" tote--how much to ship to the USA? and can I pay you via PayPal?
thanks. Jeanie

yes it is the floral bag I prefer as well. In fact I've just made 4 bags using 'Honeysuckle Rose' from the Country Diary collection which were originally curtains. They are lovely.
