For once the Met Office got their forecast absolutely spot on. They said it would start snowing at 9.00 pm yesterday evening, and it did (I checked outside just as Borgen was starting,) they said we'd have 4 inches of snow by the morning, and we have.
Sadly, they haven't yet told us when the snow will be going - soon, I hope, though its blanketing qualities do make our tatty garden look quite sculptural, and it is glorious to have a totally silent street with no cars going past.
They got in slightly wrong here, they said the snow would start at 3pm but it arrived 2 hours earlier. We got a whopping 6inches, it looks pretty and at least the temperature's got up slightly. x

As I'm sitting here at 9am in front of the fan, temperature for today predicted to be 32C, the snow is looking good, but I imagine living with it isn't much fun. Beautiful to look at though.

It makes everything look so lovely, doesn't it? Even my little concrete yard :)
