As you probably know, I do A LOT of selling on ebay. Oddly enough, I tend not to do so much buying on there. I don't know why that is really. There are some things - packing supplies, for example - that I now always buy on ebay (massively cheaper than buying them anywhere else.) But as for other things, especially things for myself, I tend to only think of looking on ebay as an afterthought.
As usual at this time of year, my thoughts turn to winter coats. I did buy myself a lovely coat last winter but I really fancied something else as well this year, especially when I realised I'd been wearing the same bright-red fleece for ten whole years!! I saw French Knots post about her bargain ebay coat and thought - that's a good idea, why don't I have a look on ebay for a new coat.
Well, as luck would have it, I found a really nice dusky pink velvet number with a paisley pattern in just my size. It cost a little more than French Knots bargain at £16.78 but it fits well, it's comfy and it's just a bit unusual. Certainly it's a tad different to my old favourite the bright-red fleece.
Glad you found what you were looking for, I tried a couple of weeks ago and didn't have any luck. Might have to take another look.

What a fab find, love the colours. Will you be knitting a hat to go with it?!

I'm the same - I'm always saying "Where can I get..." and some smartalec says "Have you tried ebay?" and I almost never have! Don't know what's wrong with me, because it's usually the best please for the odd things I'm after! Lovely coat. That's what I call vintage pink

Although I buy on ebay I'd not thought of getting a coat from there until I read this post. I thought I needed a new winter coat so there I was browsing away until I saw one that looked familiar. It was exactly like the one I'd bought myself last year, hung in the spare room wardrobe after the winter and promptly forgot about!! Your Pink Paisley looks lovely and a bit different which is nice.
