I was chopping tomatoes this morning, to make a roasted tomato pasta sauce, when I thought - 'Gosh, that looks almost modern-art-like, I'll take a photo for the blog.' Ahem, yes, I think I probably should get out more!
Actually I did have a quick trip to the High Street this morning, where I saw a large Iceland lorry making a delivery. On the side of this almost-a-juggernaut-size lorry, in huge letters, was the phrase 'Life's too short to peel a carrot.' WHAAAT - sorry, exactly whose life is too short to spend 30 seconds or so peeling a carrot!!
Wow! Too short to peel a carrot? Hmmmm. I love the tomato art.

OMG really, that's their selling slogan? PMSL! That's atrocious but then again probably does appeal to the usual Iceland-ers. Wrong, very wrong!
Love your roasted tomato "moment" :)

You are clearly Essex's (?) Andy Warhol!
I shall try this when the runner beans come through.

If peeling a carrot takes too much time I'd be interested to know what Iceland's customers make of the defrosting process! :)
