A Bit Late to the Party

 
I've no idea why this one lone blossom has just appeared on the apple tree long after the rest of her sisters have turned into

 
perfectly formed but still rather small apples.

 
The tree is heavily laden this year and I foresee branches snapping under the weight of all these apples before too long.
