1. Lovely sunshine on a cold November day - making it warm enough to sit out on the bench and enjoy an al fresco late-morning cup of coffee.
2. A couple of rather nice balls of yarn found in the charity shop.
3. Finally finding out when the area's best Christmas Bazaar is being held, this Friday and Saturday - hurrah.
I managed to miss this event last year which was a real pain. They have the most wonderful array of home-made jams, marmalade and chutneys, home-made sweets (absolutely delicious), lovely toiletries at really cheap prices, books, bric-a-brac, and all the other lovely bits and pieces that make for the best Christmas Bazaar. I'm so glad I managed to track down when this one is taking place as I was determined not to miss it again this year.
4. A pre-Christmas giveaway. I finished up the second cotton washcloth yesterday and thought I'd offer them as a small giveaway. They are knitted in the most gloriously festive cherry-red Rowan handknit cotton, and would be suitable as either a facecloth/flannel or as a dishcloth - I'll leave it up to you to decide.
The second one is just slightly smaller than the one pictured above as I only had enough yarn to do two rows of garter stitch top and bottom.
If you fancy winning a festive apple washcloth just leave a comment on this post and I'll draw two names at the end of the week. I'm happy to post anywhere in the world.
I love Christmas Bazaars as well! You managed to find some lovely wool, I would love to win the beautiful washcloth, fingers crossed.

Oh, I love the apple cloth, I can't believe you've made it a giveaway item, so that I have to de-lurk!
Your blog is wonderful, I do love seeing all your finds.
Thank you for taking the time with it.

Oh yes I've got one of Elizabeth's dishcloths too, it's been well used and launders like new every time. Please add me in to the draw...me too, me too...
Have fun at the Bazaar, hope you find lots of bargains.
